The Eaga partnership manages the Warm Front Scheme, the Government funded national grant scheme for heating and insulation measures.

A young mother from Wolverhampton is looking forward to warmer winters thanks to a Warm Front Grant.

Ken Purchase, MP for Wolverhampton North East took along some energy saving light bulbs to give to Miss Aheer whose home has benefited from the installation of loft insulation through the scheme. Angie Anderton, the Eaga Partnership's Network Liaison Officer for the West Midlands also went to visit Miss Aheer to find out more about the impact of the grant on her life.

It was quickly apparent that the house was warm and comfortable. Miss Aheer explained that there had been a noticeable improvement since the insulation was installed. She told Angie, "The Warm Front grant has been very beneficial, helping us as a young family to save money on the household budget." Ken Purchase added, "as well as helping people to save money, these energy saving schemes are a vital part of the Government's environmental policies."
